The Kent Student Awards is a collaboration between the University of Kent and Kent Union and recognises and celebrates the outstanding contribution students make to the Kent student experience. The Kent Student Award brand was created to both fit in with the University of Kent’s corporate brand and to reflect the fun and celebratory voice of Kent Union. In 2019 the event was styled as a sit-down gala dinner. In 2020 the awards were given an additional visual identity after switching from a gala dinner to afternoon tea.
